Plasgwyn: Aim

 

At Plasgwyn, care is based around each person's individual needs. We are committed to providing privacy, respect, independence, choice and dignity to all our residents.

Plasgwyn provides 24 hour nursing care for up to thirty-eight residents, including one younger adult with physical disabilities and two service users requiring personal care.

Generally our residents are people over the age of 65. Plasgwyn caters for people who because of physical and/or mental incapacity require help with daily living.

The last inspection report by Care Standards was very positive making no recommendations at all for improvement. The inspector commented on

* Inspection of the records of meals provided, showed that a varied and nutritious diet is provided.

* The service users who took part in the inspection process by completing and returning questionnaires were complimentary of the staff and the service provided at Plasgwyn.

* Service users, visitors and staff who spoke with the inspector during the visit were very positive with regards to the operation of the home and all remarked ion the homely environment and pleasant and approachable manner of the Manager and staff. This was also witnessed by the inspector during the visit.
