Bodawen: Aim

 

We are committed to providing the highest possible standard of care.

Currently, Bodawen provides 24 hour nursing care for up to thirty-eight residents, including two service users requiring personal care.

Generally our residents are people over the age of 65, because of physical and or mental incapacity require help with daily living.

* The last inspection report by Care Standards was very positive making no recommendations at all for improvement. The inspector commented on “The inspector observed the interaction between staff and Service users. The staff were seen to be respectful and professional in their interactions with each other and with service users.”

* The areas of the accommodation which were seen were found to be in a good state of repair,well decorated, comfortably furnished, clean, tidy and free from any undesirable odours”

* The management have recently introduced resident’s meetings and separate relatives meetings to share information about the home and gain ideas on how to improve the service. This is commendable.
